First Day of Class Handout

Rocket Club Parents

In Rocket Club, our goal is to have students experience the hobby of model rocketry.  Along the way, we will show how the math and science they learn in school can apply to real world situations. When our club activities end, each student will have all the basic rocket hobby equipment including a launch pad, launch controller, a complete flying model rocket, experience flying that rocket, and the knowledge to continue in the hobby.  If they really get hooked, additional model rocket kits and rocket engines can be bought locally (hey, they make good gifts, if you need ideas for Christmas or birthdays!)

We have about 40 students this year.  Would you be able to help as an aide?  NO ROCKET EXPERIENCE NEEDED  JUST SHOW UP!!
